All children at one time or another have marvelled at the exploits of there favourite cowboy star, whether it was Tom Mix, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, or Clint Eastwood . The cowboy had a code of honour that he always stuck by, he was free, and he always fought for right.
Country
music expresses a way of life that is very real, as well as opinions on how to
change it for the better. The artist's that dedicate there lives to the music
understand this. The line between cowboys and country music is very thin, I hope
to bring about a better understanding of both the cowboy and the country artist.
This
web site will study the real old west cowboy, the film cowboy and the roots of
country music as well as the artists and writers behind the songs.
